Teaching methods at Studieskolen
At Studieskolen we do not believe that there is one perfect way to learn a language. We believe that students learn in different ways and we take this into consideration. We offer lessons at a high level of professionalism that are varied and efficient.
Dynamic lessons
At Studieskolen Danish lessons are based on traditional classroom teaching but combine many different teaching methods. Teachers vary the way they work in class using teacher directed lessons and group work. Students are taught all four language skills; speaking, listening comprehension, reading and writing. By varying the teaching methods we ensure that Danish lessons are dynamic and varied.
Up to date teaching materials
We always use up to date text books as well as authentic teaching materials such as newspaper articles, television and radio programmes, internet sites, booklets and catalogues. We try to use the same books at the individual levels so that students can switch class times. However, students are presented with different text book systems throughout their Danish education to make sure that it is fun to learn the language.
At the moment we are using the following books: På Sporet, Treeren, Springet, Det Kommer, Under Overfladen, Danske Stemmer og Ordet er Frit.
