Education and employment in Denmark
At Studieskolen it is our ambition to ensure that you are able to express yourself both verbally and in writing on a range of subjects. You should be capable of actively taking part in educational and work situations, including meetings.
As a student at Studieskolen you will meet a lot of different people and have the opportunity to build up a social and professional network while learning Danish.
In module 5 and 6 a considerable amount of class time is devoted to learning about the educational system and labour market.
Subjects discussed in the lessons in module 5 and 6 could be:
▪ Teaching and study methods
▪ Student culture
▪ Lifelong learning
▪ Job hunting - writing a CV and job applications
▪ Business and educational opportunities in Denmark
▪ Workplace culture - i.e. cooperation, social interaction, and unwritten rules
After module 5 Danish Education 3 can be completed by taking Danish Examination 3. You can use this exam when appling for Danish nationality by naturalisation.
If you are planning to take further education in Denmark module 6 of Danish Education 3 is available. This module is completed by taking the Higher Education Examination. This exam fulfills the language requirements of most schools and universities.
