The test
The citizenship test consists of a total of 40 questions about Danish society and Danish culture and history. Of these, 35 questions will fall within the scope of the study material Danmark før og nu – læremateriale om historie, kultur og samfundsforhold til indfødsretsprøven. In addition, five questions about current affairs will be asked at the citizenship test.
The study material will be issued to you when you sign up for the test. You can also download it from the Ministry of Children and Education's website.
All questions are multiple choice questions, meaning that there are 2-3 answer options to each question. To pass the test, you must answer 32 of the 40 questions correctly. You have 45 minutes to answer the questions.
A certificate will be issued to candidates who pass the test. Candidates must pick up the certificate at Studieskolen's office. Remember to bring photo ID. The test results are ready 10 days after the test.
