Summer courses in Danish for foreigners in Copenhagen from Sunday 29 July to Friday 17 August, 2012
Studieskolen’s Danish summer courses are held in collaboration with The Ministry of Higher Education and are primarily aimed at foreign students of Danish.
Danish language courses
Danish language classes will be taught from 09:00 to 12:30 (4 lessons) from Monday 30 July to Friday 17 August. Lessons will take place at Studieskolen, Gothersgade 14 in central Copenhagen. Danish classes will be offered at a minimum of five levels and are taught by teacher specialized in Danish language education.
Afternoon and evening events
• Introduction to modern Danish art
• Introduction to modern Danish music and music cafés
• Guided tour of Christiania
• English language introductory lectures on Danish linguistics, grammar and pronunciation
• Social events including dinner, parties and quizzes
• Copenhagen by night. Go to student bars and concerts with Danish students

The course is open to both recipients of scholarships from the Ministry of Higher Education and paying candidates.
At the end of the course a course certificate will be issued to participants who have completed the Danish language course satisfactorily. Afternoon and evening events are based on the participants’ preferences and registration takes place in class.
Accommodation
The course is aimed primarily at participants who are able to find accommodation themselves. If this is not possible, we will try to help you find a room.
Price
Course participation: DKK 5000
Single room: DKK 3000
Shared double room: DKK 2000 per person
Studieskolen is unfortunately unable to advise participants on how to achieve scholarships for the course. Studieskolen cannot assist students in obtaining a visa to Denmark.
Last entry date
9 July 2012. There are a limited number of places available. Participants will be accepted in the same order that they register and pay for the course. Course fees will not be refunded after 14 July.
